The Professional Emerging Artists Level

The level of classes, workshops and conservatory or performance opportunities offered here are for those that have completed all of their introductory training either through a Full Time Acting Program offered within a Conservatory, Theatre/Film School, University or who have gained the respected equivalent from a variety of workshops, and studio classes over a period of time.

The individuals applying here have also achieved a certain amount of apprentice experience both within their training such as University Productions, summer stock apprenticeships, student films, community theatre, and/or performance festivals such as Toronto's Fringe or Summer Works.

These individuals feel confident about their skills, have some experience and are committed to becoming working professionals. In most cases these individuals have secured an agent and have entered the profession with the intention of gaining membership to both ACTRA and CAEA.

This category of actor is looking for training to maintain their instrument, develop improved ability to tackle auditions for both stage and camera, expand their monologue repertoire, and generally advance their level of ability and skill.
